Texas Community Bank acknowledges that the Internet provides opportunities for individuals and organizations to connect and participate in interactive discussions regarding various topics using a wide variety of social media sites.

Purpose and Safety
TCB’s Facebook page was created as a venue to keep us, our customers, and our community connected. TCB does not intend to use this social media site to facilitate new account applications, communicate the status of existing or pending applications, process disputes or error resolution claims, or collect funds or money owed. 
 
TCB does not intend to use this social media site as a medium for obtaining sensitive or confidential information from individuals. Therefore, all persons are advised to not post any private or non-public data through this or any other public forum. Though Facebook Messenger enables users to communicate privately, be advised that TCB will never ask you for confidential or private information on Facebook – including but not limited to your Social Security Number, account number, debit card number, or passwords of any kind. If we require additional information from customers or individuals interested in working with us, you will be contacted offline. 
 
 
Customer Service and Inquiries
TCB does not intend for our Facebook page to serve as a replacement for customer service. Though the Facebook page is moderated by TCB employees who will make every effort to respond timely, we can't guarantee that we'll reply to every comment. Facebook Users, Posts, and Comments
It is TCB’s intention to invite and promote healthy discussions, and we expect social media communication to be polite and courteous. We ask that participants treat each other, as well as our employees, with respect and abide by the following standards:
 
  • Do not post sensitive personal, account, or other non-public information, even if responding to social media activity.
  • Do not post or transmit disparaging, defamatory, offensive, or any other statements violating the privacy rights of Facebook users, the Bank, its affiliates, Board of Directors, employees, former employees, customers, business partners, vendors, and any other stakeholders. This includes ethnic slurs, sexist comments, discriminatory comments, insults, or obscenities.
  • Do not post or transmit text or content that may be perceived as a direct threat to public or personal safety, harassment, bullying, attacks on public figures, or promotes self-injury, dangerous or criminal organizations or activity.
  • Being a public forum, users may utilize Facebook as a stage for promoting or raising awareness to personal causes, and to share their experiences. However, refrain from posting or transmitting mature, graphic, hateful, or violent material.
  • Do not post or transmit false, inaccurate, libelous, or otherwise misleading text or content.
  • Do not post or transmit spam, malware, spyware, or any other similar content or programs that may cause harm to other users' computers or equipment.
 
Intellectual Property
 
  • Do not post or transmit a party’s copyright logos, brand names, taglines, slogans, trade secrets, or other trademarks or patents not owned by you or without the owner’s written permission. Where appropriate, accurately reference and cite sources of particular information posted or transmitted. Infringement of this or any other information deemed confidential or proprietary is prohibited and is your sole responsibility.
  • TCB assumes that any submissions to our Facebook page are warranted and that the user posting such information is the copyright owner of the content or was granted written permission by the copyright owner to use such information in a manner commensurate with that established in the social media site.

Facebook users are personally responsible for what they communicate via social media. Any communications may be available for an extended period of time and may be read by anyone. TCB is not responsible for views expressed other than our own. 
 
We may occasionally remove posts, comments, or content that does not align with Facebook’s or our internal policies, guidelines, and standards. We may delete posts, comments, or content that we consider off topic, including solicitations. We may delete identical posts or comments submitted by the same user or multiple users (a group of people sending identical messages or one person sending messages under different aliases). In the case of identical posts, we will leave the first post or comment and delete the duplicates. We may delete posts, comments, or content that appears to violate copyright and infringement laws. We reserve the right to report or block any Facebook user from our site without prior written notice or consent.
